What is Variant Sudoku?
Classic Sudoku, a type of pencil puzzle where the solver must fill a 9×9 grid with the digits 1-9 without repeating a digit in a row, column, or 3×3 box, has been around since the 20th century. Additional rules and variations have become more common and truly proliferated in the past decade.
SudokuPad, created and owned by Sven Neumann, is the world’s best web application for playing Sudoku puzzles. Though designed for 9×9 puzzle grids, it is flexible enough to support larger puzzles, even behemoths like Sudokuvania.
